Fans of Melissa Etheridge will note that Lily has sung and toured with her, joining her husband/writer partner Mark Browne. Lily’s music is a wonderful personal journey and is immediately warm and friendly. It’s a solid collection of singer/songwriter songs from a woman with a positive point of view and a voice that is easy on the ears.
Lily - your concert the other night and the new CD has me on the edge of my seat. I am so impressed with your work and am astonished how it continues to have the same amount of integrity, impeccable craft, thoughtfulness and love while growing with each album! When I listen to your work I feel as if I am hearing my own life/love story on a complete parallel path.
"Hearing Lily play live ... butterscotch morning sunshine with a cool breeze"
This lady got skillz!
Pure, raw unadulterated talent in bucketfulls. I can't wait to hear her on my radio. I feel priveleged to have had the opportunity to do a review for her! Heartfelt emotion flows from her like rivers and anyone who hears this lady's music will definitely know where I'm coming from.
I have to admit I'm not truly a folk/country pop lover, however Lily Wilson has achieved the one thing all artists are fighting to achieve. The true crossover sound...
In spanish or english her sexy voice will have the gentlemen crooning her tunes and the ladies will be right beside them singing along. Hot! Hot! Hot!
Ask me and I'd have to say Lily Wilson is the full monte, the complete package exactly what true music lovers need. Look out Sarah Mclaughlin!!! Rock on baby!

"Hola. Muchas gracias por enviarme los CDs. Son estupendos, y perfectos para el programa. Te aseguro que los voy a programar. Un saludo cordial"
Her voice is pure and soars in a down-home manner not unlike Emmylou Harris... it's the beautiful expressive vocals that shape and dominate her music.
"I have quite a following downunder for you. I play it for all of my friends who come over to my house. Everyone loves it. I think it is really soothing, thinking music and I never tire of it. It is the sort of CD you can put on first thing in the morning, or when you are driving, for a dinner party or late at night to keep you company. It always makes me happy."
I've had the pleasure of seeing Lily play several times at Genghis Cohen in LA and I own her CDs. She's fantastic live, she has a way of being totally present and really connecting with her audience - but that said - this girl can ROCK! Her songwriting is insightful, eloquent and clever; her voice is beautifully ethereal and clear... I really cannot say enough about what a joyful experience it is to listen to her music. One of her CDs is always in my car, along side Patty Griffin, Aimee Mann and Luscious Jackson.
I've been leaning up against the greats, near greats and ingrates of popular music, comedy and variety for over fifty years from the inauguration at NBC of the Tonight Show with Steve Allen, through the Fifties, Sixties, Seventies, Eighties, Nineties and welcome to the 21st Century. And I love Lily. The gentle breath of her music, her physical loveliness, and the swaying nudge of her words, make the experience of being down-sound of Lily a genuinely good thing.
..one of L.A.’s best Acoustic Renaissance musicians.
'Stargazer' is simply a beautiful album with a soft, but compelling veneer of love and anguish wrapped around lyrics that are well worth a listen.
